In the beginning….
I have had this jsite set up for a long long time. My husband, a sweet lovable computer geek, gave it to me for Christmas one year. We were going to use it as a family email and website, but decided people may not respond as positively getting email from soandso@banditslair.com. Really Bandit is our lovable, fuzzy Jack Russell terrier. Cute, annoying, snuggly and all together well mostly fun. Over the last year I have been following several different blogs online. I’m not even really sure how I found most of these blogs. I was sent a link to one and then, well you know how these things grow. Someone links someone else’s blog and before you know it, there are multiple blogs you follow when you get a chance to read them. Well, I have wanted to get started blogging for a while now, but was discouraged long ago by someone. Recently, I have decided that I need to do more for me to make me a better person, a better mommy and a better wife. Really what that means is I needed to find a few hobbies. I’ve started sewing and crafting and doing things with my hands again. I love to read. I’m getting more adventurous in my cooking and I’m trying new things like actually following recipes. I’ve decided to start blogging to chronicle the highlights of my days. Somedays are tough, somedays don’t go so well and somedays I wonder why I am a stay at home mom. But every evening, when I tuck my silly little ones in bed I know why. It is because being a stay at home mom is what I want to do right now. It is the best job I have ever had. I have also decided that this is the most exciting story I could ever write….this is my life….
